C-BridgeSim as E-learning System

C-BridgeSim can be configured to be used online in e-learning mode. The instructor and students can access an environment in which all the ship’s bridge instruments and 3D visualization can be collaboratively used and in which the exercises can be carried out remotely.
The Instructor’s workstation is equipped with an additional software license to control the activities carried out by students. Students and Instructor use a dedicated app to access intuitively the interfaces of the various C-BridgeSim applications (Radar, ECDIS, 3D Visualization, GMDSS, etc.).

The C-BridgeSim apps available in e-learning mode are:

  • 3D Visualization, Conning and Ships Functionalities Management
  • Radar ARPA
  • ECDIS
  • Navigational Aids (GPS, Echo-Sounder, etc.)
  • GMDSS

Hardware and Software Requirements

The online use of the C-BridgeSim system requires Win-10 Operating System, Chrome Web-Browser and internet connection with a speed greater than or equal to 50 Mbps.
